Everywhere I look these days, the one constant is change. Last night at the GMSHRM Monthly meeting, Ms. Kathy Davanzo, HR Florida Workforce Chair presented an interesting perspective on workforce readiness. Why should we care? What should we do?

As human resources professionals, labor and skills shortage, changes in how we work, multigenerational issues, changes in workforce demographics are constant areas of concern in our field. Keeping in touch with these changes allow human resource professional to stay ahead of the game and contribute to the development of a strong organizational strategic plan. In the midst of all the change, the role of the human resources professional is changing as well. So how do you see the role of human resources professionals evolving to?
