Blog Post: Looking for a job...........Google yourself

So you are looking for a job and have found that Google is a great resource for you to learn about a company.  You can read the news, good or bad, recent developments, press releases, etc.  Have you ever thought to Google yourself?  I can assure you that your recruiter has!  It is a free and easy way to learn about a candidate.

What about Myspace or Facebook?  Yep and Yep!  This is information you are offering up for free for us to look at.  These sites are fun to use and are a great way to meet and chat with people.  They are also chock full of information that you might not want your next employer to see.  If there is anything objectionable on these sites about you I highly suggest you remove it from the page.
