Our mission is a noble one.  It entails upholding the law through the investigation of violations of federal criminal law; to protect the United States from foreign intelligence activities; to provide leadership and law enforcement assistance to federal, state, local and international agencies; to provide the Executive Branch with information relating to national security - and to perform these responsibilities in a manner that is responsive to the needs of the public and is faithful to the Constitution of the United States.

You may join us as a Special Agent... or in a Professional Support role in any number of positions (Computer Specialist, Crime Scene Specialist, Linguist, Fingerprint Expert, Intelligence Research Specialist, Laboratory Tech, Accounting Professional, Laborer, Secretary, etc.).

Special Agent Sandra Graham worked in a laboratory before she started dissecting crimes. After graduating from college, Sandra Graham worked as a Medical Technologist at a university hospital. Today, she is still fighting society's ills as an FBI Special Agent.

You may be surprised, but Special Agents come from all different kinds of professions. What these people have in common is a search for a meaningful and satisfying career...a place to put their special skills to special use. In the FBI, work requires intelligence, physical stamina, and is sometimes dangerous, but the satisfaction these men and women get from their job is immense. we're looking for men and women, across the country to become FBI Special Agents.  Among the basic qualifications: a college degree, availability for assignment anywhere in the Bureau's jurisdiction, must be at least 23 years of age and not more than 36, and be in excellent physical condition.
