Profile: Handy, Inc.

HANDY, Inc. is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1985 to meet the fundamental needs of Broward County's Foster Care children. In recent years, in an effort to keep families together and keep children from entering the Foster Care System, more children have been placed in the care of non-relative and relative caregivers under Protective Supervision (PS). HANDY expanded services and programs to include not only the Foster Care children, but also the abused, neglected, and abandoned children placed with relative and non-relative caregivers under court protection.
