Job: Housekeeping Floor Supervisor

The Boca Raton Resort & Club consists of the Cloister, the Yacht Club, the Tower, Boca Beach Club, the Boca Bungalows, Boca Country Club, conference facilities, two 18-hole championship golf courses, 30 tennis courts, Spa Palazzo, a golf clubhouse, six pools, an indoor basketball court, a 32-slip marina with full fishing and boating facilities, and a half-mile of private beach with water sports facilities.

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Floor Supervisor!

Overall responsibility to maintain standards of cleanliness and service of the Cloister/Tower/Yacht Club/Villa buildings.

Responsible and accountable for all daily housekeeping functions

Ensure the cleanliness of areas of responsibility through effective training, supervision and follow-up with staff

Train and counsel employees as required

Prepare morning assignments ensuring VIP rooms, early make-up requests and special requirements are handled

Review employees’ appearance with follow-up ensuring departmental standards are maintained

Maintain an on-going inspection program of all accommodations

Ensure guest rooms are consistently supplied with amenities per resort standards

Ensure guest requests are handled in a timely and professional manner

Maintain par levels and complete inventories of all housekeeping supplies and chemicals

Maintain assigned storage areas

Submit and follow-through on monthly training topics

Responsible for completing annual performance appraisals on each individual under your supervision

Complete written inspections of guest rooms, identify deficiencies and follow-up until completion

Ensure all guest loanable items meet standard and inventory par levels are maintained.

Prompt follow-up and communication with the Assistant Director regarding any guest or employee related problems

Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers.

Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop or bend for duration of shift [at least (8) hours].

Must have management experience, be organized , efficient and have initiative.

Must be able to work well with guests, line employees and management.

Must have the ability to follow directions, guidelines and established standards.
