Duties include working with caseload of 25-30 youth with substance abuse,
behavioral, family and/or academic issues referred by court system. Counselor
responsible for all documentation including daily progress
notes,daily/weekly/monthly invoicing, monthly and quarterly reports and all
other necessary documentation applicable to program. Service duties include
facilitating weekly parent education meetings, youth
treatment/psycho-educational groups, individual and family counseling,
case-management and community outreach/volunteer activities. Candidate must be highly
organized and able to manage time effectively. Must be able to perform home
visits in evenings and work 2 Saturday per month. Must be able to work a variety
of hours including early mornings, evenings and weekends when
necessary.

Master's degree required. Experience working with delinquent youth and
their families is preferred. Must have transportation available during work
hours to perform school, community and home visits. Must be willing to drive 15
passenger van to transport youth to community action projects and other
activities.

The primary care centers offer compassionate medical care for the growing number of uninsured or underinsured residents of South Broward County. Located in Hollywood, West Hollywood and Dania Beach, the centers offer a variety of vital programs which include disease management and pediatric services, as well as Mobile Health Centers for both children and adults.
