The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the provision of comprehensive psychiatric and medical care within the scope of their practice and will be under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The selected candidate for this position will make and receive assignments, sets priorities and participate in program services as assigned.

Skills / Requirements

The successful candidate must have graduated from an accredited nursing or vocational school. Must hold a current State of Florida license to practice professional nursing and maintain a current copy on file with the hospital at all times. Minimum one year of experience in a psychiatric or acute care setting is preferred. Must be able to pass background investigation, drug screen and medical evaluation.
