Job: Storage Engineer

We are looking for a technology oriented engineer to install and support SANs for large scale data intensive environments. The successful candidate will be working for a team oriented, fast paced and innovative Value Added Reseller / Systems Integrator.

*Design, administer and support storage solutions, including Network Attached Storage (NAS), Storage Area Networks (SAN), and enterprise disk subsystems.

*Provide direct technical support for the planning, coordination, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to storage systems and the range of products and productivity tools that support the testing and production of those storage systems.

*Ensure stable performance for storage environments through performance monitoring and tuning.
*Perform operational support, ticketing, etc.

*4+ years of relevant EMC storage experience.

*Experience with replication between data centers.

*EMC Storage Foundation & Clarion certification.

*Proficiency with Intel based servers.

*Experience with SAN fabrics.

*Experience with LTO tape technology.

*Experience with EMC disk subsystems.

*Experience with scripting to customize functionality of storage subsystems a plus.

*Tapeless backup and backup encryption experience a plus.

*Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing concepts, including the principles of network routing and client/server programming.

*Highly motivated, energetic, thorough, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task effectively.

*Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

*Excellent oral and written communications skills.

*Ability to set and meet deadlines.

*Strong interpersonal skills.
