We are currently seeking a Server Assistant!

To perform a variety of tasks as directed by the Director of Dining Room Services. Sets and clears tables in their station. Assists food servers to assure timely and professional service to residents and their guests. Prepares the dining room for service and assists with decorating, set up and clean up of special events and private parties as needed.

The Principal Accountabilites and Essential Functions of the Job:

•Clears and resets tables between courses and after service.
•Responsible for water and bread service.
•Removes soiled china, glass, silver and linen from dining room.
•Assists servers and hosts/hostesses in delivering efficient service and ensuring resident satisfaction.
•Sets up and decorates special events and displays such as coffee breaks, private parties and refreshment stations.
•Performs light side work including vacuuming, sweeping, restocking.
•Maintains all sanitation policies and procedures such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).
•Uses highest standards of cleanliness.
•Performs other duties as assigned.

Must be sensitive to the needs of older adults.

A clean, well-groomed appearance is necessary, as is an outgoing, friendly personality.

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.

Must be familiar with menu in great detail.

Needs to be a team player.

Must be able to communicate in English.

Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
