Job: Welder

We are currently seeking a Welder!

Duties include:

Welds metal components together with brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, Weld and repair Aircraft Engine Components.

Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.

Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding.

Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.

Jobing Description
Propulsion Technology was founded in 1983 to offer repair and engineering services to the commercial aviation industry. Since its inception PTC has grown to a 135-employee company with a reputation for high quality work. It is now an established major source for repairs of JT8D, CF6, CFM56, V2500 and CF34 engine components for a customer base of virtually all United States' airlines as well as many foreign operators.

In April 2001, PTC partnered with Snecma Services, and Techspace Aero to form Propulsion Technology, LLC.Propulsion Technology can now offer to it's customers a direct link to the engine OEM for the CFM56 engine line.

Skills/ Requirements
Education and/or Experience:

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Welding Certificate prefered but not required.
