Educational Opportunity: Self Directed GED Program

Caregiver Services, Inc. was established to provide training and employability skills in the high demand field of health care. Originally established to meet the internal needs of the affiliated home health registry, the school was launched in recognition of a demand in the community that they could meet. BELL Education Center achieved licensure in 2001.

Learning is a continuous process. Our primary purpose is to develop and enhance the abilities of each individual while at the same time providing them with skills that are in high demand and will assist them in their ability to obtain and retain employment.

Objective:

In this 43 tape, 21.5 - 22 hour program of study, students are prepared for taking the GED exam. (Supplied by KET after approval by Florida Board.)

Uniforms are not necessary to participate.

As a self directed program of study the student will arrange with the Program Director of his/her designee, a schedule of planned attendance including days, times and duration of attendance.

The student will be responsible to report in to Education Department and procure that day's tapes for review. They will review the tapes on the school VCR at their own rate and may review as much as they wish.

The three workbooks will be completed as assigned by the tape direction. The student will progress at the pace they desire until all tapes and book assignments have been completed.

Prior to completion of program we will provide the student with the schedule for GED testing in the area and assist as necessary for their registering to participate on date they wish.
