Job: Sales Manager

The $30 million boutique-style Hollywood Beach Marriott is located beachfront on Hollywood’s famous two-and-a-half mile Oceanfront Broadwalk with cafés, restaurants and jazz clubs. The Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport is the closest airport and only six miles away.

We are currently seeking to add a Sales Manager!

Responsibilities Include:

The Sales Manager will be responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in their assigned market segments.

Also be responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact hotel revenues.

Initiate and follow-up on leads

Assist in month end reports

Make outside sales calls, networking and prospecting for new business

Conduct site inspections, pre and post conference meetings

Consistently exceed room night and revenue goals

Work closely and effectively with all hotel staff

Performs Manager on Duty shifts

Previous hotel experience with at least 1 year in a sales position

Delphi experience required

At least 3 years of progressive hotel sales experience in a specific market; or a 4-year college degree and at least 3 year of related experience

Understand booking guidelines and parameters

Display strong communication skills and initiative

Self motivated and self starter
