Description:
Greets restaurant guests with a positive friendly attitude. Assures guests are seated in a timely manner assuring that guests have a favorable dining experience.

Assign wait staff to service guests where seated. Answering phone, greeting guests, and keeping track of seat availability in restaurant. Assisting wait staff. Responsible for assisting with bussing and resetting tables. Responsible for cleaning host area and entrance to restaurant. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to use cash register systems.

Ability to read and follow simple instructions.

Ability to use a telephone.

Ability to hear and speak clearly.

Knowledge of alcohol awareness.

Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.

Ability to perform assigned job duties in an interruptive environment under frequent time pressures.
