- Current FL RN license

- 1 to 2 years related experience required

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team based on national standards and utilizing the nursing process.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Expected to demonstrate a good knowledge of regulations for patient care and documentation. Expected to have basic knowledge of office procedures. Expected to have the ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Expected to have intermediate mathematical skills. Expected to deliver skilled, professional and age-appropriate care. Expected to recommend solutions for complex problems. Expected to coordinate the total plan of care as directed by physician and case conferences to assure continuity of care and report changes to physician as needed. Expected to participate in PI processes. Expected to develop, prepare and maintain individualized patient care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to policies. Expected to assess the patient's continued care needs. Expected to complete and maintain all required documentation. Expected to demonstrate leadership skills through appropriate decision making, delegation and supervision of duties, and functioning as a coach/resource to new staff and students. Minimum Education and/or Experience:&
Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or Associate's degree AND One year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
Licensure/Regulation/Certification:
BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current Florida Registered Nurse license in good standing. *Incumbent may be required to perform emergency duty before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency, crisis situation or disaster (man-made or natural) including evacuation sites.
