Job Description
The ED of Compliance is responsible for formalizing the KU compliance department to include reporting, remediation, day-to-day planning,and budgeting. Responsibilities include identifying and remediating root cause of student complaints.

Responsibilities also include planning and supervising completion of Proof of Graduation (POG) attestations and call monitoring, as well as developing a training plan as a result of call monitoring compliance issues.
*Provide excellent customer service to our students, employees and other business associates

*Manage the Student Complaint function and the Remediation, Training, and Quality Assurance Monitoring functions for Kaplan University.

*Mediate student complaints which are esclated to the Student Relations Department
*Maintain tracking of individual student complaints
*Identify root causes of student complaints and partner with functional area to remediate
*Serve as member of the Kaplan University Review Committee
*Provide regular reporting to KU and KHE Executives

*Manage Quality Assurance monitoring
*Complete scoring on a timely basis for Admissions
*Develop review process for Financial Aid and Academic Advisors
*Implement FA and AA monitoring
*Identify root causes of monitoring errors
*Implement and execute training plan to elevate monitorning errors

*Develop Compliance training to address QA issues

*Manage Proof of Graduation (POG) Quality Audit

*Oversee special investigations related to quality assurance issues*Provide excellent customer service to our students, employees and other business associates

*Mediate escalated student complaints that have not been resolved to student's satisfaction

*Oversee and manage the tracking and timely reply/mediation of student complaints received by Better Business Bureau; maintain top rating with the Better Business Bureau

*Track the root cause of student complaints and providing regular reports on the number, source and types of complaints received and provide recommendations to reduce the number of student complaints

*Supervise the Quality Assurance monitoring for all student-facing staff; responsible for timely compliance scoring of admissions advisors at all KU locations

*Member of the Review Committee and assist in the mediation of escalated student complaints

*Oversee special investigations related to quality assurance issues

Requirements:
*Doctorate Degree (PhD, DBA, JD)
*7-10 years experience and/or training in compliance or education
*CampusVue, Strong in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT)
CampusVue, Microsoft Applications
*Excellent resarch and writing skills
*J.D. preferred, with experience in Higher Education and dispute resolution
*Strong teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills required
*Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently, set priorities and motivate others
*Ability to develop policy/procedures and training aids
*Flexibility to adapt to change
*Knowledge of student life cycle and processes that make Kaplan University student successful
