Jobing Description

PURPOSE: Under general direction of the Staff Nurse, perform a variety of duties in assisting the licensed nurse staff in Resident Care and treatment on the assigned nursing unit or other Resident Care areas.

Skills / Requirements

EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

Graduation certificate from a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program.

Current Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Florida.

Nursing assistants will be given an orientation period based on state and federal regulations. The length of training periods may vary at the discretion of the Director of Nursing.
