Job: Lead Maintenance Mechanic

LEAD MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Under general supervision the Maintenance Mechanic will assist in maintaining the facility and performing preventative maintenance programs. This is achieved by performing duties as assigned including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.

Responsibilities include:

Preventative maintenance program.

Perform daily mechanical inspections and routine maintenance.

Perform daily schedule and non-schedule work requests and maintenance projects.

Respond to all emergency and alarm situations.

Responsible for maintaining good working conditions in all work areas.

Endeavor to maintain positive public relations and a pleasant attitude.

Good plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting skills.

Detail oriented, strong organizational skills.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

English language fluency (speaking, reading, writing).

Good interpersonal skills.

Work well under pressure.

Maintain a neat appearance.

Must be a positive “Team Player”.

Must be able to lift 70 lbs.

Position requires stooping, bending, climbing ladders and stairs.

Requires visual observation abilities.

Supervisory experience is a plus.
