Job: Restaurant Manager

Executing annual financial, local restaurant marketing, guest service and human resource objectives, strategies and tactics for the restaurant.

Manage the restaurant floor, focusing on regular contact with our guests.

Maintain proper staffing levels and ensure that employee recruitment training, coaching, mentoring and succession planning are performed.

Ensure that operations, food preparation, food safety and sanitation, and guest service are continually kept up to Original Pancake House standards,.

Carrying out supervisory duties such as employee sourcing, hiring, training, scheduling, directing workflow, performance appraisal, rewarding and disciplining employees and resolving complaints and problems.

Completing all required reports and paperwork accurately and on time. Maintaining all employee files with all required employment and legal documents.

Effectively handling guest complaints.

Qualifications:

Two to three years previous restaurant management experience or comparable experience in a customer focused industry
Restaurant experience preferred
High school graduate or equivalent, advanced education preferred
Excellent track record in building revenue
Extremely guest focused
Strong history of building strong teams with the ability to effectively train, coach and mentor employees
Understanding of P&L and other business tracking reports
