Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Professional and Executive Development, the Project Coordinator provides operational direction and oversight for the FIPSE Grant. The Project Coordinator oversees all tasks and deliverables of the grant and works to support the grant by determining appropriate training. This position requires knowledge in the field of Homeland Security, and requires appropriate organizational and operational skills. This position participates in coordinating and scheduling of the training specific to Homeland Security issues and concepts. The position will compose grant reporting documents, and/or similar documents. Assists in scheduling of training programs for college staff, faculty and students in the area of Homeland Security and all hazards. Reviews the grant budget and prepares reports for grant. Reviews files for audits by DOE. Performs related work as directed.
Grant funded position. Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required. An equivalent combination of relevant grant management experience, education and credentials will be considered. Minimum Experience/Training: Three to five (3-5) years experience in grant management and protocols required. Experience in higher education in the area of Homeland Security is preferred.
