Job: Pediatric Medical Assistant

Pediatric Practice in Coral Springs is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with front desk experience. The ideal applicant will have at least 1 year of experience working with children ages newborn to 18 years. This position is part-time with the possibility of full-time. All applicants must be proficient in:

PKU, bilirubin, finger stick for acucheck and hemoglobin, administer IM injections and vaccinations, do rapid strep and mono test, venous blood draw, urinalysis vital signs, and vision screening.

At least 1 year experience in Pediatrics with children from newborn to age 18.

Front Desk experience REQUIRED

Proficient in:

Must posses front desk skills:
Answering multiple lines, strong customer service and problem solving skills, excellent ENGLISH written & verbal communication skills, insurance verification, experience with Microsoft office suite, and ability to type 30 WPM or greater.
