Job: ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, SPEECH AND/OR COMMUNICATION

Broward College invites applicants for a full time tenure track teaching position in Speech and/or Communication.

Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st century learners.

Minimum Education: Master's degree or higher in Speech and/or Communication required; Speech Communication preferred. College teaching experience preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training: This position is a yearly two semester (163 day) contract position.

The successful candidate must be a dynamic, experienced instructor with a demonstrated commitment to excellence, student success, and instructional technology. Teaching experience in a community college or post secondary institution is essential. Some committee work will be required. The successful candidate will teach primarily at the Central Campus and be expected to engage in professional development activities and service to the Communication Department and college.

Some schedules may require evening and/or weekend hours. Instructors are required to post and keep office hours.
