Job: Lab Assistant I

The Scripps Research Institute (TSRI) is currently seeking a Lab Assistant I for its Florida facility. This position will support the department of Neuroscience. Duties will include general lab support including basic biochemical analyses; plasmid, tissue, or gel prep; spectrometry; glassware washing; autoclaving; media, solution, and buffer prep; preparing Drosophila food and perform other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required or assigned.

Requires:

High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been attained.

Requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience or an Associate degree in a scientific discipline.
