Our client in Boca Raton, FL is looking to add a Sr. SSAS Developer to their growing organization. This is a direct-hire position, this client is an industry leader in the retail sector and offers great benefits to their employees!

Pay: $105-$110K + Benefits

Position Summary: The Sr. SSAS Developer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse and data marts. ETL development skills using Microsoft SSIS, expertise in relational structures, dimensional data modeling, and T-SQL skills are a must. Must be a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving researching techniques and methodologies to produce effective, complete and reliable solutions.

  • Build, maintain, and optimize OLAP cubes using Microsoft SSAS. 
  • Work with BI tools like Power Pivot, Power View, and PowerBI to build decision support systems
  • Enhance and support data warehousing and data management projects with ETL development.
  • Develop data models and architectural designs to build a data warehouse using Kimball methodologies.
  • Responsible for query optimizations and performance tuning of various MS BI objects
  • Provide 24/7 off-hours support as needed.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server 2014/2016.
  • Solid understanding of Relational and Dimensional Modeling.
  • Experience in enhancing/developing complex stored procedures.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining SSIS packages.
  • Performance tuning stored procedures and ETL processes.
  • Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple priorities, and remain flexible in a dynamically changing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a persuasive speaker and presenter.

  • Experience with Data Mining
  • Development experience with VB.net/C# scripting.
  • Experience with version control using GIT and TFS.
  • Working knowledge MDX query language.
  • Experience with Azure SQL data warehouse.
  • Development experience with VB.net/C# scripting and SSAS.
