LOCATION: Doral, FL

CLEARANCE/ACCESS: Active Top Secret Level Clearance with SCI Access; Clearance, Access and Investigation must appear in JPAS and be within scope (5 - Years)

OVERVIEW:  Perform a variety of engineering tasks, under general supervision, which are broad in nature and are concerned with execution of JFS, JT, T&E or QRT activities.  This discipline may perform with some latitude for un-reviewed actions and decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and perform engineering research, design development, and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications
  • May be responsible for the technical/engineering part of a major project or a project of lesser complexity and importance than those normally assigned to a higher level engineer
  • May coordinate the activities of technicians assigned to specific engineering projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience creating a T&E Master Plan, scheduling and coordinating participating units/individuals and executing either field tests or large military exercises

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  This discipline typically requires a level of expertise that is acquired from a degree in Operations Research, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or other related technical field, with experience related to program management or Defense test and evaluation.

  •  Level I: Bachelor's Degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Level II: Bachelor's Degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Level III: Bachelor's Degree with at least 7 years of experience, or a Master's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience

Team Members on Task (CONUS only, minimal or no job-related travel):
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Office Type Environment with Temperature Control. May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. General office environment.
Team Members on task (CONUS and OCONUS assignments, some travel):
• Specific vision abilities required by the job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone must be physically able to live in austere conditions during off duty time that may include extremes in temperature, noise, and must not have any medical conditions that require access to uninterrupted power sources.
• Team Members deployed to a combat zone will be subject to hazardous conditions which may require them to wear a kevlar helmet, individual body armor and/or wear a gas mask for extended periods of time.
