Candidate must be able to act as an H-60 maintenance and aircrew Instructor, maintainer (A&P Lead, troubleshooting, repairing and servicing aircraft and engine systems, and perform major structural modifications in the field), conduct formal classroom academic training, provide On the Job Training (OJT), crewmember flight training and develop training courseware materials. Candidate must be able to be responsible for the planning, preparing, and conducting training events while observing all corporate and customer safety policies and procedures in a fast paced training environment at the Sikorsky Training Academy. Must possess the ability to conduct classroom and on-aircraft training on the H-60G, H-60M, H-60R, H-60S, H-60U, H-60W, S-70B, S-70i and S-70M. Must be able to maintain close supervision of students during both classroom and practical instruction. Determine and report on student proficiency. Maintain aircraft, training aids, manuals, course material, and supplies. Must have a comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation or manufacturers' manuals. Maintain required training records, files, and reports and provide special instructions and counseling for students. They will oversee all inspections and maintenance on a variety of aircraft ensuring adherence to FAA and manufacturer’s requirements and guidelines. Support includes disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective parts on or off aircraft. Adjusts, repairs, or replaces structures/ systems and aircraft components, systems, or accessories. Requires individual workload responsibility to maintain schedules on assigned field projects from supervisor. Perform other duties as requested to support overall contract effort or customer Aviation maintenance support.

Candidate will be required to travel in support of field maintenance efforts when not on training assignments.

Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience on Sikorsky Products

Demonstrate effective communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Must have ability to assess learning material effectiveness

Understanding of System Approach to Training

Ability to quickly master new technical and training applications

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class II FAA Flight Physical

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret level clearance

Have an FAA A&P License

Desired skills
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience on an H-60 platform (H-60G, H-60M, H-60R, H-60S, H-60U, H-60W, S-70B, S-70i or S-70M), S92/S76/53E aircraft desired

Formal classroom instruction and Instructional Systems Design knowledge and application

Experience in the Sustainment and Support of the Hawk aircraft series

Telecommuting Information
The work associated with this position will be performed at the designated Lockheed Martin facility. Situational telecommuting may be considered and authorized at the discretion of your leader and based upon the role.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
