Minimum Requirements:

Licensure/Registration/Certification :  Master Electrician License and Possession of a valid Florida Driver License with no more than 3 points
Education :  Graduate of trade or vocational school with courses in electrical.  Completion of apprenticeship.
Experience : Four years supervising personnel working in the electrical trades.
          

Duties:

1. Assist with orientation/training of employees.  Encourage professional growth and development.
2.  Supervise and coordinate tradesmen working in the preventive maintenance, maintenance and construction electrical trades, including but not limited to providing direction, supervision, guidance and technical assistance as needed for power, lighting, emergency generation, communications (voice, visual and pneumatic), fire alarm, energy management systems.
3.  Estimate time and material for work assignments.
4.  Requisition/order materials and equipment required to complete work requests in a timely fashion and develop the scope of work when outside contractors are required.  Maintain adequate inventory of plumbing supplies, tools, and parts.
5.  Prioritize work and develop work to complete work assignments.  Monitor and inspect work assignments to ensure timely completion, compliance with work specifications, codes and regulations.  May act as working crew leader as required by project.
6.  Maintain all required records and information pertinent to the cost of individual work assignments.
7. Keep all work areas orderly, clean and safe.
