Position Summary

The Director will lead the transformation to achieve best-in-class performance in total Supply Chain.  On an ongoing basis, this person will direct company-wide material planning, order  fulfillment, transportation, warehouse and trade compliance activities working closely with Sales Management, Local Distributors, End Customers, Operations, and Businesses to optimize the Total Order Cycle Time of  the supply chain consistent with customer service and “Best Total Cost” objectives.  Targeting Ethics, Speed and Product availability as a strategic focus with preferred and primary product availability to lead the accelerated Sales growth plan for the Latin America Region. Supporting the Core values of Teamwork, Open Communications and Trust through out the Latin American Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:
Output vs. Tasks

  • Customer Service - Blended

  • Distributor DMI & Product Availability

  • OEM Key Process Management

  • Preferred & Primary Product Regional Support

Core Tasks

  • Monthly Customer Service Reviews with Regional Staff Target 96 % Blended Compliance Service goal.
  • Monthly Total Order Cycle Time Regional Reviews with Logistics, Channel and Customer Care regional personnel
  • Monthly  OEM Regional Communication, Reviews and status updates for OEM Bill of Material, A,B & C Inventory analysis with Preferred and primary product conversion. Update OEM Customer Service levels for OEM direct and via distribution.
  • Coordinate DMI Weekly & Monthly LA Regional progress to 95 % on time compliance. Facilitate improvement process with Country Managers and Distributor Senior Management & Owners.
  • Monthly  Regional inventory review to ensure turns and inventory days global target compliance.
  • Monthly Productivity Regional reviews to ensure productivity goals are met / exceeded.

Open to any location in Latin America or Weston, FL LA headquarters.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering or business; MBA preferred

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years management experience

  •  Experience collaborating with others across the organization and with leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to manage in an ambiguous  business environment

  • Success in dealing in a global, matrixed organization structure will be necessary

  • Must have demonstrated expertise leading a complex global supply chain organization and ability to provide both technical and managerial leadership to his/her organization

  • Must be articulate, persuasive and persistent to drive change and overcome normal organizational resistance while providing hands-on leadership to the organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate to upward management.

  • Must possess high energy, assertiveness and strong execution skills

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
