Job Description
This position is responsible for managing a SAP based work order management system to track expenditures and staff time utilized to complete land and vegetation management functions, serves in a lead role in developing annual operational budgets and monitoring expenditures, and participates in procurement functions including the development and tracking of Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders. 

Specific duties include serving as the subject matter expert in SAP work order applications, developing coding structures, providing staff training in how to properly utilize work order codes, monitoring data for quality assurance, running detailed summary reports for budgetary, planning, and reporting purposes, creating Purchase Requisitions in SAP,  monitoring budget reports and making budgetary coding adjustments as necessary, and participating in the development of the Land Stewardship Section’s annual operational budget. 

This position will also provide similar assistance to other organizational units within the Land Resources Bureau and may be utilized to assist with other reporting and data management needs of the Bureau as needed.  Incumbent shall be knowledgeable and have practical experience in budget administration, managing database applications, report writing, record keeping, and utilizing office software including graphic packages, power point, and spreadsheets.  Incumbent shall be experienced in preparing and delivering presentations and training materials in a clear, organized, and concise manner.
 
Employment Guidelines
Typically has Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) with 6+ years experience working with various database applications.  Familiarity with SAP accounting software, WEEDAR, and database administration related to resource and public lands management activities is preferred.
 
Licenses
Valid State of Florida Driver's License.
 
Physical Requirements/ Working Environment
Work is performed primarily in an office environment.  Due to the District's response role before, during, and after major storm events and in the scope of emergency management, this position may, at times, be required to provide work support before, during, and after major storm events and emergency situations, such as hurricanes or other declared emergencies.
