Imaging Supervisor

With a primary focus on service excellence, the Imaging Manager will direct and coordinate all day to day imaging operations at VRC Companies, LLC (“VRC”). The supervisor will function in collaboration with and under the indirect supervision of the Vice President, VitalScan.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implements overall imaging policies, procedures and services
  • Provides a higher level of customer service and friendly atmosphere maintaining the VRC standard of care
  • Monitors productivity
  • Promotes continuous quality improvement through the department
  • Provides all supervision to staff as well as others working within the imaging suite.
  • Ensures compliance with standard, VRC, regulatory policies and requirements
  • Monitors and evaluates operational effectiveness and implements changes required for improvement
  • Evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance
  • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing and hiring training new staff
  • Monitors office budgets and resource utilization
  • Maintains quality assurance and safety in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Monitors and arranges for maintenance and repair of imaging equipment
  • Maintains inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Works collaboratively with the VRC management team, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and committees working toward company goals
  • Participates in the development of short and long range organizational goals
  • Demonstrates self-direction related to professional development
  • Encourages continued education and staff development
  • Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in the field of Imaging
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be accepted

  • Able to self-direct

  • Knowledge interviewing and hiring processes.

Working Conditions

  • Moderate lifting, bending, walking, and time on feet
